KPERS Executive Director Retiring

Earlier this month, Board Chairperson Ron Hagen announced that Executive Director Glenn Deck is retiring after 36 years of public service, effective September 19, 2011.

“The Board appreciates Mr. Deck’s service to KPERS for the last 11 years and we wish him well in his retirement.”

At its September 16 meeting, the KPERS Board of Trustees:

  • Appointed Elizabeth B.A. Miller, CFA, as Acting Executive Director, effective September 20, until a permanent Executive Director is appointed. Miller is currently KPERS’ Chief Investment Officer.

  • Voted to engage the services of EFL Associates to conduct a search for a permanent Executive Director.
