Disclaimer:  The estimate calculator is for KPERS members who have not yet retired.  It is not linked to your KPERS data file and the estimate accuracy depends on the information you enter.  You should not make decisions based on this estimate alone.  If you are planning to retire in the next year, request a written estimate from KPERS by completing a Retirement Benefit Estimate Request form (KPERS-15E) and submit it to our office.

The information on your last Member Annual Statement will be helpful. To use the benefit estimate calculator, you will need to enter your: date of birth, joint annuitant's date of birth (optional), years of service at retirement and estimated final average salary at retirement.  (NOTE:  If you have purchased out-of-state service based on salary at time of purchase, you may need to contact our office if you are unsure of your salary at that time.)

Again, the accuracy of the estimate depends upon the information you enter.  This is only an estimate.  All information should be confirmed with KPERS before you actually select a retirement option.
